Return policy
We always aim for you to be satisfied with our products. But if a product does not meet your expectations and you wish to return it you are welcome to do so. You can return an item to us within 30 days without providing a reason.
Please note: Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for custom-designed products.
The return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
Received a damaged or different product?
In case of a damaged product or in case a different product has been delivered than you ordered, please contact our Customer Care team for further instructions.
In the event a damaged or the wrong product has been delivered to you and you can provide us with evidence of this case we will be able to send you a new product.
What are the return conditions?
You can return an item within 30 days without providing a reason. If reasonably possible, items should be returned in a sturdy cardboard shipping box. We therefore advise you to carefully open the shipping box and original packaging so that you can reuse them if necessary for the return shipment. For orders placed on www.mepal.com, the following return conditions apply:
- The return shipment takes place within 30 days of purchase.
- We kindly ask that items are complete, undamaged, and in their original, unused condition.
- Items must not be custom-designed.
If your return does not meet these conditions, we may not be able to process a refund. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!
Returning Your Order
1. Requesting a Return
Don't have a Mepal account yet? You can request a return within 30 days by entering your order number and postcode. If you have a Mepal account, you can log in and register your return, so there is no need to request it separately.
2. Registering Your Return
Open the order you wish to return and register your return. Select the number of products you want to return and provide a reason for each item. This helps us process returns more efficiently.
3. Shipping Your Return
Once you have registered your return, you will receive an email with detailed instructions on how to return your order. The email will guide you through the return process step by step.
The return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
For our customers outside the European Union, we recommend using UPS as your shipping carrier for returns. Please enclose a copy of the invoice both inside the package and on the outside to facilitate customs clearance and prevent the parcel from being returned to the sender. We also recommend keeping your proof of postage until your refund has been processed.
Refunds
Once you have returned your items to us, when will you receive your refund? Here’s what you need to know:
- The refund will always be processed as quickly as possible, but no later than 14 days after you have exercised your right of withdrawal.
- The refund will be issued after we have received and inspected the returned items.
- Once your return has been processed, you will receive an email confirmation.
- If you return the entire order, we will also refund any shipping costs you originally paid.
- If you return only part of the order, the original shipping costs will not be refunded.
The refund will always be issued using the same payment method you used for the purchase. Please note: If you paid via PayPal, the refund may be credited to your PayPal balance rather than directly to your bank account. You can adjust this setting in your PayPal account if necessary.
